How does Defib Alert Text Work?
Defib Alert will provide your group with a virtual mobile number which will eliminate the need for your group to purchase, carry or top up a normal mobile phone.
What will happen in an emergeny?
The National Ambulance Service or any person can text the group number. Once the text is received within seconds that message will be automatically forwarded to any amount of mobile numbers.
What happens next?
Once the message is received, numerous trained CFR's have now been notified a person needs help as well as receiving their name and location.
Why is the service essential?
At present most groups rely on one mobile phone that may or may not be in coverage or be able to be answered by the responder. Our system is connected to numerous phones that will only take seconds to send multiple text messages. The chances of all responders missing a text is remote.
Will this work with the National Ambulance Service?
Yes it will. Instead of the NAS texting one mobile number, they will instead send the text the new group defib mobile number and this in turn will then alert all CFR's as per normal. We can alert numerous phones together.
